HOW IT WORKS

ReFuel America's fuel products include proprietary and complex technology achieved using components substantially and predominantly from petroleum sources. This new technology improves the performance of traditional gasoline and premium diesel fuels, as well as domestically-produced and environmentally-friendly alternative biofuels such as Ethanol-based E85 and Biodiesel-based B20. ReFuel's technology alters the properties of fuels, creating a 'denser charge' in the engine to allow more complete combustion. This is designed to result in improved miles per gallon and decreased harmful emissions, including the production of carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, nitrous oxides, particulates and black smoke.

Similar results have been demonstrated with other petrol blends. The technology can also be adapted to other applications including marine, aviation, rail, 2-stroke engine fuels, motor sports, as well as stationary equipment used in power generation, chemical plants and mining.

Cleaner Fuel
In addition to the improvements in emissions, the fuel efficiency gains from ReFuel's products correlate directly to reductions in Carbon Dioxide emissions. Carbon Dioxide is the major component in engine exhaust and has been shown to be the key emission contributing to global warming. Introduction of NewGen products in the fuel supply chain can also create emissions credits and used as global currency for all countries that have ratified the Kyoto Protocol.

Saves Money
NewGen's fuels increase fuel efficiency vs. base fuels at a cost of approximately $0.02/gallon. Based on the current cost of fuel, this is an investment that typically yields 100-500% return for the end user. On a macro-economic scale, the improvements in fuel efficiency decreases total consumption of petroleum-based fuels, thereby decreasing dependence on imported oil. Similar testing has been conducted for petrol, with test results showing a minimum expected 7% improvement in fuel efficiency.

Home Grown
In addition to the economics of fuel efficiency improvements and carbon emissions trading, benefits include the new industry offered by producing a home-grown fuel supply. This further reduces dependence on oil imports, creates farming opportunities, and produces local jobs in a sustainable fuel processing industry. Based on the current status and trends of oil prices, BioFuels (Ethanol & Biodiesel) are an economically viable alternative to petrol and diesel. New technologies for BioFuels are also decreasing production costs, as well as increasing crop and processing yield.
